Sonora herbicide is recommended for post-emergence control of broadleaf weeds and select woody brush species in non-cropland areas including equipment pathways, industrial manufacturing and storage sites, forest sites, and rights-of-way (such as along roadsides, electrical lines and railroads). Use on these sites may include application to grazed areas as well as establishment and maintenance of wildlife openings, wild parkland and wildlife management areas, and forest spot application adjacent to these sites. Diuron 80 DF Herbicide Active Ingredient: Diuron – 80.0% A non-selective residual herbicide for the control of a wide range of grasses, broadleaf weeds in land not intended to bear vegetation, including industrial sites, railways, and other non-crop situations. PRODUCT INFORMATION Alligare Diuron 80DF is a dispersible granule to be mixed with water and applied as aspray for selective control of weeds in certain crops and for non-selective weed controlon non-cropland areas. It is non-corrosive to equipment, non-flammable, and non-volatile. Alligare Diuron 80DF may be applied to soil prior to emergence of weeds to control susceptibleweed seedlings for an extended period of time. The degree of control and durationof effect will vary with the amount of chemical applied, soil texture, rainfall, and otherconditions. Soils high in clay or organic matter require higher dosages than soils low inclay or organic matter for equivalent herbicide performance. Moisture is required to activatethe herbicide. Best results occur if rainfall (or sprinkler irrigation) occurs within 2 weeks ofapplication. Alligare Diuron 80DF applied before emergence of crop and weeds is an effective procedurebecause susceptible weeds are controlled in an early, vulnerable seedling stage before theycompete with the crop. With favorable moisture conditions, Alligare Diuron 80DF continuesto control weeds for some time as the crop becomes better able to compete. Should weedseedlings begin to break through the preemergence treatment in significant numbers,secondary weed control procedures should be implemented; these include cultivation andpostemergence herbicide application. Alligare Diuron 80DF may also be used to control emerged weeds. Results vary withrate applied and environmental conditions. Best results are obtained on succulent weedsgrowing under conditions of high humidity and temperature of 70°F or higher. Addition of asurfactant to the spray (where specified) increases contact effects of Alligare Diuron 80DF. Alligare Diuron 80DF may be used as a directed postemergence application. ALLIGARE IMAZAPYR 4 SLPre- and post-emergent, non-selective herbicide for control of undesirable vegetation in timber production sites including forest roads and non-irrigation ditch banks. ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDSThis product is toxic to plants. Drift and run-off may be hazardous to plants in water adjacent to treated areas. Do not apply to water except as specified on this label. Treatment of aquatic weeds may result in oxygen depletion or loss due to decomposition of dead plants. Do not treat more than one-half the surface area of the water in a single operation and wait at least 10 to 14 days between treatments. Begin treatments along the shore and proceed outward in bands to allow aquatic organisms to move into untreated areas. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters or rinsate.
