A reproduction Victorian Lichfield bell pull & bell in solid unlacquered brass. A really nice complementary set made up with two items from the same quality manufacturer. The pull is a really good quality unlacquered reproduction of an Edwardian example (stamped 1905 on the handle) but this Gothic revival style was popular from the mid Victorian period and onwards, the original pull which these are reproduced from was reclaimed by the manufacturer. The pull is designed to sit on the outside wall or frame next to the front door. The entire system is mechanically operated with a heavy duty return spring so could work with original door bells as well as reproductions.
