Product Details: This soluble humic acid powder is a concentrated source of humic acids which makes a liquid solution containing up to 12% Humic Acid (by weight). It is OMRI listed for organic use. Solution can be mixed with liquid fertilizers having a pH of 5.5 or higher. This adds organic material in liquid form with a high percentage of humic/fulvic acids to your plants to enhance uptake of nutrients. Adding Humates is the most efficient way to increase the humus content of soil, as it is highly concentrated and much easier to apply than any other form of humic matter. Humates are highly concentrated, natural organic humus, formed through the biological breakdown of plant life over millions of years. Also, since humates are completely decomposed, they enter into no nutritional competition with plants for nutrients such as nitrogen (not the case with incompletely decomposed compost).Typical Analysis shows 9.0 pH, 16% Soluble potash, 8% Sulfur, 48% Carbon, 28% Oxygen, 4% Hydrogen, and 80% Organic acids (55 Humic / 25 Fulvic). Soluble Humic Acid Application Guidelines:FIELD CROPS FOLIAR: Using 2-3 lbs. per acre as a foliar application, 2-3 times per growing season is recommended for row crops and forages. Plants need to be just past the seedling stage – about 25% coverage of the ground before the first application. Second application is usually just before flowering, or just before the onset of the reproductive stage of the crop. The 3rd application would be early in the grain fill or fruit/vegetable sizing stage.HYDROPONICS: Use 1/16 – 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water. GENERAL FOLIAR APPLICATION: Make a liquid solution using 1/4 – 1 teaspoon per gallon of water and spray leaves until wet. LAWNS: Make a liquid solution using 1 Tablespoon per 100 sq. feet for new lawns or seedbeds and 1 Tablespoon per 300 sq. feet for established lawns.
